InSysBio expert modelers Dr. Galina Lebedeva, Dr. Tatiana Karelina, Dr. Evgeny Metelkin and Dr. Oleg Demin will give the course “Modeling for systems biology and biomedicine” at the Faculty of bioengineering and bioinformatics, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The course will give an introduction to quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) modeling and summary of general principles of development of mathematical models of biological systems, such as enzyme kinetics, metabolic and signaling pathways and cell dynamics. InSysBio modelers will show students how to describe pharmacokinetics and how to implement interaction between drugs and targets in the model. The course is based on cases of various modeling approaches for biomedical and pharmacological problems solving.
About InSysBio
InSysBio is a Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) company located in Moscow, Russia (INSYSBIO LLC) and Edinburgh, UK (INSYSBIO UK LIMITED). InSysBio was founded in 2004 and has an extensive track record of helping pharmaceutical companies to make right decisions on the critical stages of drug research and development by application of QSP modeling. InSysBio’s innovative QSP approach has already become a part of the drug development process implemented by our strategic partners: there are more than 100 completed projects in collaboration with leaders of pharmaceutical industry.
