InSysBio expert modelers Dr Tatiana Karelina and Dr Evgeny Metelkin will give the course “Modeling for systems biology and biomedicine” at the Faculty of physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. The course will give an introduction to quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) modeling and summary of general principles of development of mathematical models of biological systems, such as enzyme kinetics, metabolic and signaling pathways and cell dynamics. InSysBio modelers will show students how to describe pharmacokinetics and how to implement interaction between drugs and targets in the model. The course is based on cases of various modeling approaches for biomedical and pharmacological problems solving.
