InSysBio announces its participation in the upcoming webinar on CYTOCON organized by ASCPT entitled "CYTOCON: The Manually Curated Database of Human In Vivo Cell and Molecule Concentrations" on November 28, 2023, 9am PT / 12pm ET. This webinar aims to demonstrate key features and application of CYTOCON Database.

CYTOCON DB is a manually curated online database developed by InSysBio for analysis of cell/molecule concentrations measured in different tissues of healthy subjects and patients suffering from various pathologies. It allows collecting, processing and visualizing publicly available data on immune cells and cytokine baseline concentrations in humans. An important feature of CYTOCON is that most values found in papers are converted from a huge variety of original units to unified units: “pM” for cytokine and “kcell/L” for cell concentration. These features of the database can help researchers facilitate the creation and calibration of quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models.

Panelists: Vladislav Leonov, PhD, Oleg Demin, PhD, Elita Gerasimuk, and Ekaterina Mogilevskaya, PhD, CYTOCON DB Development Team

One must activate amyloid degradation as soon as possible to prevent the appearance of the protein plaques in brain under Alzheimer’s conditions. This conclusion was reached by scientists from the biotechnology company InSysBio, who created the first computer model of the disease. The final part of the work has been recently published in CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology.
